InDesign Addon - Print Support

Hi guys,

 

In our organisation, we were looking for some efficient solution which operates as follows:

  • Regarded Product catalogues & Product brochures
  • For both print and online media
  • Wide range of products (Old, Current & Upcoming)
  • Three consoles - Content Management, Design templates & Output Generator
      • In Content Management - Text, Images, Graphs, Specification Tables, Diagrams.
      • Design Templates - PhotoShop Files (For Frontpage and Back page Designs) & InDesign Files (For page template for particular product type)
      • Output Generator - PDF Files ( High resolution for print & normal resolution for online)
  • Different output PDF files should be generated based on the respective selection done in both Content Management & Design templates consoles.

 

Advise me on this, if already some alternatives are in the field or addons integrate with InDesign / PhotoShop will work excellently or anything efficient solution.

You could consider creating your catalogue in InDesign and exporting the document as a PDF for conventional printing and then use InDesign's Publish Online facility for the online digital edition.

    Thanks for the reply.

     

    But we are looking for an automated solution like if we add something in our content management console (new product & its content) then it will need to produce the catalogue based on the InDesign template selected.
