Indesign: after exporting as PDF the (TIFF) images in the file are black

After exporting as PDF the (TIFF) images in the file are black and full of stripes. What can I do?

Already tried all the 2001/2002 etc export settings.

Also the TIFF images are really big and I cannot convert them to PSD files (they are too big).

What is "really big"? And why are they so big?

around 6000 mm (it's for a big print)

What is the finall - printed size - and from what distance it will be viewed?

For big banners that are outside the buildings or large billboards - 50-100 dpi / PPI should be more than enough.

It happens to me also several times. Either I open the image in an older version of Photohsop, and save it there again, or if no layers are in the file, I drag it onto Acrobat Pro, save as PDF and use that.

I know, I should file a bug report, but when I tried to do it, the web page was not responsive, and then I forgot it.

Could you include a screenshot of your export settings (the compression tab and output tab in particular)

Can you show a screenshot?

You can convert TIFFs to JPEGs without too much degradation in details...
