Question

Indesign and pantone connect

I cannot add pantones to swatches in indesign, the 3 dots are missing and the eye dropper is not working. I have un installed and installed emptied caches and spoken to Pantone, (don't ask…)

Have artwork to send out that uses pantones and am going a little crazy.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Here are my archived Pantone Plus and the earlier Pantone libraries:

    Old Pantone Libraries.zip

    Fiona,

Here is an article suggesting workarounds.

Do you have a Pantone Connect subscription? If so... it's pretty much on them to make it work for you.

Or are you using older static Pantone libraries installed manually in ID (the workaround for having them removed several versions ago)?

In either case, more details would help. "Cannot add Pantone to swatches" is a bit vague. EXACTLY what are you doing/trying and what's the result?
