Indesign automatically shut down after about 1 min after I opened it. I had try reinstall for different version of I design and deleted all possible documents that could cause the crash, however the auto shutdown still exist. so i choose to change a device and run my work again, however the same situation even happened on my another device. The "shutdown" literally looks like somebody shut it down for me, it even ask me to save my file before it shut itself down, so I guess it was not a crush. My two device are both windows 11.

Before it self shutdown, start a export task, then export task will help you to stop the auto shutdown.

Try to add InDesign to a DEP list in Windows - as a trusted application.

Or check your antivirus software.

I'd look at any malware protection as well, or (if these systems are on a managed network) any remote management or logging type utilities.

Does ID shut down regardless of what you're doing? If you just open it, does it auto-close? If you have a document open but are idle? Or only if you are actively working with it?
