Indesign becomes unresponsive trying to open specific file

Want to send to adobe staff to check out...

I have opened this file before (with much larger links) and worked on it no problem. in the past few hours it has become unresponsive and slow to open or use to the point i can't open the file without having to force quit indesing every time! it only seems to be the case with this specific file. ive tried reinstalling and resetting indesing.
