What is the difference between InDesign beta and regular indesign

But this beta is specifically for experimenting with InDesign cloud documents. Do play with it, but don't remove your current version and be careful using for "real work".

The InDesign beta program is available for "regular" users but, as @James Gifford—NitroPress points out, it is being developed so it's not been fully tested. The current InDesign beta program is focusing on being able to story InDesign documents into a cloud format which is similar to the cloud documents created by Photoshop and Illustrator.

Any beta program you might have access to is a preview of a coming update, usually not guaranteed to be stable and with features that may change when it's released. Some users like to have the preview or get access to major new features ahead of the curve, but it's risky to use beta software for anything but "experimenting."
