This black line appears to be part of the page margin on just one page of my document. All other pages are okay. I have tried for a couple of hous to see how to delete but all I have managed was to delete a couple of spaces in the line. It is not something that can be highlighted with the selection tool and whn I move the page border, the line moves with it, although it is not sitting on the border. Page editot doesn't show anything relating to the line. Any ideas to the cause and how to delete are apprecicated.

Screen shots attached to show the line and page border. Thanks

Thanks Eugene, I have managed to work around this by adding a page, copying the text from the page with the line that was causing me grief, pasting this on the added page then deleting the page with the line. This still didn't give me an understanding as to what caused the line, but it did mean I could continue my document editing.

Not entirely sure the images are helpful to see what the sympotms are but it's hard to diagnose.

Could you attach a sample document please?
