Post most recent software update, app has been running slow and freezing upon opening.

Version: 19.1

Platform: Mac, iOS Sonoma 14.2.1

Reproduce Problem: Open InDesign app to work

Expected vs Actual Result: Expext app to lauch to home screen, app freezes with the wheel of death and must be made to force quit. Sometimes app opens up to previously used document automatically then freezes with some hover effects working in the application but slection and moving menus causes the app to freeze and then forced to force quit.

Trouble shooting: delete and reinstall the app, seemed to work for a bit but then back to the same issue as described above.

I have  Mac, Macbook M1 Max, Sonoma 14.2.1. I am NOT having this problems, so no bug, but something unique to your setup (third party software? Anti virus software?). Try starting with holding the Shift key; does that make a difference? Or create a new user account, does that make a difference? Delete all UnDesign preferences from your Home Library Preferences, does that solve things?

InDesign is not fully compatible with Sonoma currently. Some say hiding Rulers can help (Command + R).

Derek, it is not about the redraw problem, the OP has crashes at start up...

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
