InDesign button animations and text forms

I am aware that InDesign animations on buttons only work when the file in EPUB/Publish online. However, i want to create a hover animation on the button that goes to a page where you can fill in a text form. A text form is possible within an interactive PDF ofcourse, but then my animation is not available. Is there a way to keep my hover animation on my buttons that go to a page where a text form could be filled in? File does not matter, pdf, epub, etc.

Unfortunately, the hover animation on buttons in InDesign is specifically designed to work in EPUB or Publish Online formats and is not available in interactive PDFs. While interactive PDFs support text forms, they do not support the hover animation feature. To have both the hover animation and the text form functionality, you would need to choose either EPUB or Publish Online format for your document, where you can have the desired animation on the button that leads to a page with a text form for users to fill in.

You are wasting your time even thinking about this for reasons that have been discussed countless times. In fact, I don't even see a need (except in very specific circumstances) for a PDF form. Create on on the website or link to a google form and be done with it.
