(InDesign) can I define a stroke style?

I want to alter many small stroke lines (make them finer) - see below.

Can I define a stroke style to apply globally to a frame/multiple frames?

InDesign does allow you to create Stroke Styles, but you don't need to do this to change the weight of a stroke globally—simply follow Mike's advice instead.
If you do want to explore Stroke Styles, you can access them from the Stroke panel menu. From the existing strokes choose the one that is most like the result you're after, then click New and you can edit the relative weight of the lines that together make up a stroke style.

Make an Object Style to define and control frames, including stroke edge thickness.
