Hi Everyone, I’m encountering a persistent issue with InDesign 2026 on macOS Tahoe 26.1 when trying to package documents whose linked files are stored in Google Drive. Any ideas???

Annabelle,

Is the InDesign document on the computer or is it stored in Adobe cloud as an .INDDC file? Remember that .INDDC files cannot package. They have to be a local .INDD file.

It looks like you encounter this known issue on Tahoe:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/probleme-beim-verpacken-in-adobe-indesign-20-5-unter-macos-26-mit-dateien-auf-synology-nas-dsm-7-1/m-p/15626103/page/2#M644246

Until it's fixed, I recommend to work on Sequoia (I believe that the easiest way would be to install Sequoia on a separate partition or external drive and work from there until the issue is fixed.)

Yes indeed, it seems to be more link to the Tahoe system and not Adobe In
Design. I am gonna try to downgrade to Sequoia.
Thanks a lot,

Annabelle Blin

Hi @Annabelle_Blin2331,

Thanks for the update. I understand how confusing this feels. To help us clearly see what is happening on your setup, could you please share a short screen recording showing the full workflow from your packaging attempt until the error appears?

Whenever you have a moment, please upload the recording here, and I'll take it forward with the team.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek

Did you set the google drive folder and/or files to "Make Available Offline"?

Read this article about it:

Yes i did it for some of my folders but i can't make my whole google drive
available offline. Which is my main problem. And even when i have my folder
available offline i cant' make any package. I really don't understand
what's going on..
Thanks a lot
