I had the same issue, I found deleting the 'ExtensisFontManagementIDCC2017.InDesignPlugin' from the application plugin folder worked but you lose the auto activation of fonts through suitcase.

    Hi.

I was reading the responses to  the packaging issue with InDesign 2017 as we have been facing the same issue with our Graphic Design team. Has this issue been escalated to the Engineering team? We have three folks who are all experiencing the same issue. We are running InDesign 2017 on Windows 10 not that it seems to be a Windows issue as Mac users are experiencing the same problem. Looking for an answer to this issue as well. Shawn

Sanyam Talwar is on the InDesign Engineering team. They are probably in the process of resolving the problem. If you're lucky it might be fixed with the next update.

Do you have any images in the document that include symbols that can cause problems in Mac file names?

    Hi Sanyam!

It doesn’t matter the file. It happens on all of them for both of us.
