InDesign CC 2018 and Wacom Tablet

I'm consistently having trouble saving my files after some time working in them. This has happened over different working files. Command + S doesn't work and the undo function also quits working.

I'm on a Macbook Pro running High Sierra. I also recently got a new Wacom tablet which I feel could be the problem. I'm not sure how to use both of these tools without these issues occurring.

Wacom drivers have been known to cause all kinds of issues. Delete the drivers and see what happens.
