InDesign CC 2019 Update

Hi all,

I've been a user of Adobe cloud for about 3.5 years now. This update recently has been giving me a lot of problems. Indesign has been the gltichiest of the programs. Indesign would not allow me to edit text when I press the text tool or make a new text box until I click out of the document and click back in. I would have same fonts looking different on some pages. Photoshop crashes a lot more now after the update. The one that gives me the least amount of problems is Illustrator.

My question is if others are having similar issues or if it would be just me?

Sincerely,

Renz

Please download the bug fix build of InDesign CC 2019.0.1 (14.0.1.209)  and see if that fixes your issues. It's now available for download from the CC Desktop app.

Could you provide a link please? The 2019 version still crashes when trying to relink images.

What version of InDesign shows when you choose About InDesign (InDesign menu on Mac, Help menu on Windows)? Make sure you have the referenced link.

You can also try restoring InDesign preferences:

If 14.1 14.0.1 isn't showing as available yet in the desktop app, click the three dot menu > Check for App Updates.

Just to be clear: The new update is to 14.0.1.209 (full build numbering). You can see that if you hold down the Cmd/Ctrl key while you select About InDesign, and you will see this at the top left of the information:

There are multiple threads on this and we don't need another one.
