InDesign 2022 is crashinge ach time I try to access the Links panel. I'm not sure how to get around this, but I need to edit links that were created in the original document. Any ideas? I know they had this issue in 2016, but I can't find the solution posted. Thanks!

  1. Does it happen with any document or only with a specific one? If it is so, save as IDML, open it and save as new INDD and try again.
  2. It could also be a problem with the connection to the remote server. Therefore I would recommand to work with these files localy. Make a package for print.
  3. Did you embedd those images? Not good. Save them externaly and link them only.
  4. Are those files EPS files? Replace them with PDF/X-4.

Thank you! I hadn't thought to check if it was just the document I was working on. Saved as IDML, then as a new file and it solved the problem.
