Indesign cc17 crashes upon print

Indesign crashes when i try to print, in the first step when I press ctrl + p or click on print in the dropdown menu.

I use:

Indesign cc17

Windows 10 pro version 1703

Is there more information that I could post here that would be helpful?

How do i uninstall the adobe pdf print driver?

Secondly how do I extract the crash logs?

Please tell me you're not printing to PDF!

That is an incredibly archaic method of PDF creation. You should absolutely export to PDF.

Could be a wonky print driver. Try exporting a PDF and printing that from Acrobat.

This is actually a preferred method anyway. I don’t recall ever printing anything from InDesign.

Thank you for the quick answer!

That might be want I wanted to do. I wanted to print a PDF. What is the difference between printing and exporting PDFs? Will I never want to print with the regular print diaglogue?
