InDesign CC2015 Fail to Export file.

Hello all,

I am trying to export a file and I keep getting the 'Failed to export, 1 problem found in background task.' When I check out the background tasks it doesn't give any info and doesn't flag any problems. After many minutes of frustration and reading through the forums and trying all of the suggestions I still have no joy. Saving as a IDML and re-opening to try export isn't working. Nothing I have tried is working. The file is not a big file, it is a single sheet consisting of 6 scanned sketches. (I have assembled much bigger files with no problem on earlier inDesign versions.)

My laptop is a brand new Razer Blade 15 so it has plenty of computing power. Running off Windows 10. I am completely at a loss with how to rectify this issue. I have even individually brought each image into separate documents to try exporting them individually and this fails also.

It's going to be a long semester if I am unable to rectify this issue so any help is welcome. I've already tried out all of the methods suggested in other posts and am still looking at this damn error window.

-Daniel.

Because that's the full version I have available to me. I was using CS5 before this version and it worked just fine.

You have every CC version available to you. Install CC2019 and try it.

Why such an old version of InDesign? Try it with CC2019.
