InDesign Cloud File Fails to Open and Shows Sync Error

Hi everyone, hope someone could give me advice on the following problem:

 

Since a few days one of my files isn't working in Indesign anymore. When I open it I have to wait for quite long, just to get an error. Other files still work. I also can't download the file elsewhere anymore. Also, nearly everytime it now says in Indesign the file needs to synchronize and it takes very long. I tried finding the problem through ChatGPT and tried a lot of different things, but it seems like the file is corrupted (out of nowhere). 

Putting it back to an older version also doesn't work properly. In addition, I only have the file in the cloud, so not locally saved. 

 

Any ideas/experience with this type of problem? Or advice in general?

Thank you for sharing the file link. I'm checking with our product team regarding this.

 

In the meantime, could you create and share a short screen recording showing what happens when you try to open the file in InDesign? Seeing the exact behavior will help me document the issue more clearly and investigate it further with the team.

In the meantime, could you please share your system logs using the Creative Cloud Log Collector tool, so we can investigate further? You can download and run the tool from this link: https://adobe.ly/4oHBHGv.

Once you've collected the logs, please share the generated file here or via DM. This will help the team diagnose the problem more precisely.

Thanks for sharing the details, and I'm really sorry to hear the file isn't opening properly.

Could you confirm which version of InDesign you're currently using and the operating system? Also, is this happening only with this particular file or with others as well?

Please try signing out and back into the Creative Cloud desktop app to make sure the sync completes properly. Once done, check if the file opens.

Also, try reverting the document to an earlier version using the steps in this article: View and manage versions of cloud documents. Let me know if that helps.
