InDesign Collaboration of Creative Cloud Files

We're trying to upload InDesign templates to the Creative Cloud files folder and share the folder with collaborators. The idea is that we want everyone to have the most up-to-date files whenever they're updated.

We're able to share, and the files sync and download to that persons Creative Cloud Files folder, however they do not show up in InDesign in the "Start" workspace when you click on CC Files, and ideally we want these files to show up here, so that it's fool proof, and we don't have to worry about people browsing to their Creative Cloud Files folder each time to grab a template.

Can you tell me why these files are not showing up here? Is there a way to make them appear?

I dislike the Start screen and don't use it. My understanding was that for a file to populate in the Start screen, it would have to be opened in InDesign. Did you try that? Do you try saving the file?
