Indesign: no new creation of character formats possible, you can create the field, but you cannot select a font: Mac turns black, system restarts. Of course I deleted preferences and so on - but nothing helps.
I used Khmer UI with Illustrator - there is no problem. In Mac font software there is no problem. Perhaps I should Indesign deinstall and then reinstall.
Other possible solutions:
(a) Conflicts in your computer user: Run InDesign from another user on your computer
(b) Use Creative Cloud desktop app to uninstall InDesign and reinstall
