InDesign Crash during startup - CS5 on High Sierra 10.13

So I guess due to the upgrade I recently did to High Sierra, I could no longer run my CS4 Creative Components. So I had a copy of CS5 to install, which is also what I use on my new 2017 MacBook Pro also running the same OS version. No problems running the CS5 on the laptop, but for some reason InDesign only doesn't want to start after I installed it onto the Desktop. All other programs from the Creative Suite load, but it stops at Starting Registries. Tried everything in other threads, only thing that worked was I created a new Test Admin user and was able to open it under that persona fine but not my standard login. Please help. Need to have some sort of InDesign on the Desktop in order to get to client files with fonts specific to those files.

Sorry, but it's simply an unsupported combination. It may work, it may not.

Find an old machine with an old operating system if you absolutely must run old versions of software.
