InDesign crashes every time I update links

InDesign crashes and shuts down whenever I try to update links. The application is up to date, and the crash log has been submitted to Adobe. Is anyone else running into this issue?

Sorry you're running into these crashes while relinking files.

Could you please test the same workflow in the latest InDesign 21.6 Prerelease build and let us know whether the freeze/crash still occurs? You can install it through Creative Cloud Desktop > All Apps > Prerelease.

Does this happen on specific links and document? Are these on local drives or network drives?

I've tested various file formats like .jpg, .ai, and .png. Whenever I click 'Relink' in the Links panel, InDesign either freezes with the spinning wheel or immediately crashes with the Adobe Crash Reporter dialog. All on my local drive.

Is it on a Mac? If so check if InDesign has full disk access
