InDesign Crashes Upon Launch on Mac (Cannot Open)

Good morning, yeah, this has been happening for the last few years. I have tried on PC and Mac and it always happens... I update to the new ID, launch, and it crashes. I always have to uninstall and reinstall, and then it will work, but then if I quit ID completely, eventually it won't launch agaoin, and then i have to uninstall and install again. 

The work around works butwhen I am trying to show my team something, of course, it won't launch and now I must uninstall and install.

Please try the expert's suggestion in the thread and let us know what happens, so we can assist you further. Also, make sure all third-party plug-ins are disabled or uninstalled, as these can sometimes prevent InDesign from launching properly after system updates. You can also try opening InDesign in Safe Mode to help rule out any conflicts from plug-ins or extensions.

Do you have any third party plug-ins installed for either InDesign or your Mac OS? If so, try disabling them and see if the problem persists.
