Indesign crashes when exporting to PDF

Indesign crashes when exporting to PDF interactive when it was working fine a few months ago. 

published direct to my computer, contains 2 hyperlinks. 

Indesign Version 21.5.1

This is frustrating as I am trying to keep my team working on Indesign instead of using AI to do reports.
 

And I am losing the battle when we cannot do a simple task as exporting a pdf (single page) : this is killing our productivity. 

I have an apple silicon M2 Max chip

OS version 14.3.1 (23D60)


I hope you /someone can help me sort this out.

    Hi ​@CL285484298hsu, thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with this, especially given the impact it’s having on your team’s productivity.

    I hope the troubleshooting suggestions shared by the expert have helped with the Interactive PDF export crash. Could you also confirm whether you see the Adobe Crash Reporter dialog when InDesign crashes? If so, please submit the crash report and share the email address used to submit it with me via direct message (DM) so that we can check the crash logs. You can refer to this guide for details: Submit InDesign crash reports.

    Also, please update us on the current status of the issue and let us know which of the suggested troubleshooting steps you were able to try and whether any of them made a difference. Based on those results, we can investigate further and assist you accordingly.

      Does this happen with all document of some particular documents? If not all documents then try the following

      • The documents could be corrupted, export to IDML and resave back to INDD and then try exporting the PDF
      • Check for any corrupted fonts
      • Check for any links, hyperlinks, cross references causing the issue
      • Try to isolate the problem by removing pages from the document and then exporting the document
