Indesign crashes when opening CC libraries

Hi,

I'm having this issue for a few months now, and after several app updates it still persists. My Indesign crashes as soon as I open cc libraries. As soon as I open the libraries window, I can't do anything, the rainbow loader starts spinning and the only thing I can do is force quit the app (I'm on mac).

Is this a common issue and are there any fixes?

If this happens with all your InDesign files when you open CC Libraries, I'd suggest restoring your InDesign preferences and caches. Here's how:
