InDesign CS6 Won't Launch Anymore

Okay, here's the situation: I recently retired and no longer have any use for InDesign CC through 2021, so I canceled my Creative Cloud account. I have ID CS6, which I purchased outright many years ago and have been using successfully ever since for a non-profit I do work for—up until today. When I tried launching CS6 the Adobe Application Manager launches and spins forever (see attachment). The only thing I can do is quit it.

Since I have a job for this nonprofit due today I decided to resubscribe to Creative Cloud, but I still get the AAM launching when I try to launch CS6. I was able to do the work in ID 2021, but I'm doing it pro bono and paying $24 a month is not worth it.

How can I get my CS6 working again?

what's your macOS version?

Mojave. A lot of people have said here in the past that CS6 won't work in Mojave, but I've been using it for several years in Mojave (using an old version of Java).

What I consistently heard from users is that macOS 10.12 is the last one where you can use CS6 reliably. I know you've been using it successfully on Mojave - but it's quite possible that your luck has just run out, unfortunately.

Try to create a clean new user and run CS6 there. If it doesn't work, then all I personally can suggest is to downgrade to Sierra.

On a Mac? Very doubtful.

I've been using it successfully on this Mac for years. Something on Adobe's end has apparently changed. Even after ending my CC subscription a couple of months ago I was able to use it. Today, all of a sudden, it won't launch. I contacted Adobe help and they asked for my serial number. I gave it to them and they said it was the right one and that it should run. I'm at a complete loss.
