InDesign custom workspace not appearing after importing - MAC

I have transferred workspaces from machine to machine numerous times. You simply copy the workspace located under User>Library>Preferences>Adobe ID>Version#>en_US>Workspaces and paste it into the same location on the new machine. Restart the program, and it should be under the workspace dropdown.

This is not working for me. I have tried it multiple times and restarted the program/computer, but nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else had this issue?

Maybe a macOS file permissions thing?

My notes show that Edit > Migrate Previous Local Settings moves them into the new app.

Have you experimented with that new-ish feature?

This is what I have for location. Double-check it?

Workspace presets are .xml files and InDesign automatically makes a folder and puts them here:

[macOS] Mac/Users/UserName/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 20.0/
en_US/Workspaces
[Win 10/11] Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 20.0\
en_US\Workspaces

Yes, this is the correct path and what I have always followed for Mac.
