Indesign document is open, but nothing is visible.

Question

Help, I do not know how to name this error.
I open an indesign document, swoosh the mouse around without clicking, and everything dissapears. If I reopen the file - all is good. But after a year this is getting old.

Disable GPU Performance in your InDesign preferences. If that doesn't do it, please post the exact versions of InDesign and your operating system.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
