Indesign document won't open and crashes to desktop

Thanks for sharing the file and the log. I see that you're currently on InDesign version 20.3.

I checked our system for any crash reports submitted under your community email address, but I wasn't able to find any. The crash log you've attached unfortunately doesn't contain the specific diagnostic details we need to properly investigate the issue.

Could you please try submitting the crash report again through the Adobe Crash Reporter dialog box that appears after the app crashes? While submitting the report, make sure to enter your email address in the provided field. Once you've submitted it, kindly share that email address with me via DM here on the community so I can track the report and have the team investigate it further.

If you're on windows you might have luck with this script

It might make the IDML file and salvage it.

There's an email address at the bottom if all else fails you could try contact that email address
