Indesign erkennt Bildpfade aus Excel-Tabelle nicht als Bild sondern als Text (Datenzusammenführung)

Ich versuche mit einer Excel-Tabelle einen Katalog mittels Datenzusammenführung zu erstellen.

Beim Importieren der Tabelle (egal ob als .txt oder .xls) erkennt Indesign nicht, dass eine Spalte der Tabelle Pfade zu Bildern enthält. Es steht immer das (Text-)T vor der erkannten Spalte im Feld Datenzusammenführung. Auch das Umbenennen der Spalte in `@Fotos hat nicht geholfen.

Was mache ich falsch? Die Bilder liegen alle im selben Ordner ab wie die Excel-Tabelle und auch die Pfade sind richtig eingetragen.
