Question

Indesign failing to import files

Hi,

Ive recently updated to InDesign 2020 but still have 2019 installed on MacOS Mojave.

Since updating, within either version I am unable to import any JPG greater than 1GB.

I have tested this with multiple images and have been able to import images at ~990MB

As I attempt to import something over 1GB, InDesign throws a "file is corrupt" error.

It can be best to Place your images in InDesign and you can use PSD files if available as well as JPGs. I've just tested and was able to Place an image that was over 1GB.

How much memory do you have?

As a matter of interest, why are you usimg such a large size image?
