InDesign fails to export PDF when linking out to OneDrive

I'm working from a team Sharepoint synced to OneDrive on my Mac and when I'm exporting a PDF from InDesign, it downloads each link in the export as it should. However, if the download takes too long for a large image, the export fails and I have to restart the export. Is there any way to get InDesign to wait for the file to download before failing the export? If it just had some patience, the export would work fine.

No solution here, but it is interesting that I tried and failed to export a PDF to a OneDrive folder. I tested repeatedly, and could only export to other folders; not OneDrive.

In fact, I had so much trouble with OneDrive, I was forced to laboriously remove it and unsubscribe it. It has a take-no-prisoners mentality to how it occupies your computer. There is no way to successfully assign it to a secondary hard drive folder. It insists on taking over your Documents folder, moving all your files, and not letting go. To get your files back you have to connect it; download them to a neutral folder, and then unsubscribe it; and manually move your own files back in place.
