InDesign - file corrupted

An indesign file stopped working - it wouldn't load all the way (it's 45pg). I tried opening it over the course of a day, and it kept not loading. Then, it said the file was damaged/corrupted (Error Code 03). When I try to restore previous versions, it says there are none. I tried copying & renaming, and then opening that file but it still didnt work.

What do I do? This file took over 3 months of cumulative work, and I really need to be able to access it.

If you are working in a OneDrive or Dropbox folder you should be able to restore an earlier version there. If not, you just learned why should be.

Try the script save as IDML without opening the file.
