InDesign file icon shows blank/no thumbnail in ID 18.2.1 on Windows 10

Hi, just upgraded to Indesign 18.2.1 on Win 10 and the files thumbnail are blank without any Id icon. There is no problem with previous versions so it looks like a bug of the actual one.

The only way I found to fix this was to edit the registry. I'll leave you on your own to find those direction because I don't want to be responsible for you trashing your machine.

Thank you for your tip, I wish Adobe will fix it without any kind of editing in the registry.

Do the InDesign files still function normally though? If so, see what happens to the icons after working on the file and saving. Yes, this doesn't fix the initial problem but it is usual behavior after an InDesign upgrade for the program to treat the first save of any old document as if it was a "Save As" that requires writing over the old file.

Nothing changes,

it's the first time that appens, never had before. I also tried to associate the indd to the new version (right click and open with as default) but nothing to do.

There is no problem if I roll back to the previous version.
