Indesign file is damaged

Since I installed 19.0.1 Indesign I have been recieving messages " Indesign detected that the file_________ is damaged". This happens when I  create a new file and then reopen it. After resaving as another name, I can no longer open the file. Can soneone please offer a solution to this very exasperatingproblem. Many thanks.

    Search forum for "Sonoma" - InDesign is not fully supported...

    Did you save on a space which is part of a cloud service?

    Are you sure that you try to open the file with the latest version and not with the previous one?

    Hi, Thank you for replying. No I have not. Everything is saved on my hard drive and computer. All my new files that I have created are with the new version, and when I reopen them i get the message. This happens with all of the previous Indesign versions as well.
