Indesign files don't have an application to open?

So I had to uninstall my creative cloud because it would not update Photoshop, so I uninstalled the Creative Cloud and everything is work just fine.

I am working on a mac. Everything is up to date, as well as all my Adobe programs.

BUT, now when I click on an indesign file the message:

"There is no application set to open the document “file-name.indd”.

So I right click the file and go to "Get Info" to try and change the "Open with:" options to indesign, but it will not let me click on indesign. It is grayed out.

I can however open indesign and open the file from indesign, so it is not like they won't open.

Any tips?
