InDesign flickering GUI on Sonoma 14.5

I've recently encountered an extremely annoying bug in InDesign 19.4 on my Mac Mini M2 Pro running Sonoma 14.5. More often than not, the GUI starts to flicker and jump around, and sometimes even the entire pages I'm working on starts jumping. When opening a dialogue to insert files, I can't choose a file or folder; it gets marked as chosen for less than a second and then it becomes unmarked again. I can only work for a minute or two tops before this happens. Can anyone advice on what to do?

I've tried reinstalling Sonoma but that didn't solve the problem.

Also, when running InDesign, the cursor flickers in some other apps as well. This stops when I quit InDesign.
