InDesign flowchart tool

Hi!

I'm looking for a plugin or a script that allows to connect lines between objects for creating flowcharts.

I can't find any plugins or any native function in InDesign that allows for this? Is it even possible – can InDesign plugins run continuously?

Any help on this would be very appreciated!

Not that I'm aware of. It's not that hard to draw flowcharts within InDesign (using the Align panel to align and distribute the shapes). But maybe an easier workflow would be to use a flowchart program that allows you to export the file into a format that you can place into InDesign.

Yes, of course it's possible to create the entire flowchart by hand with InDesign but the reason for me asking is to find an easy way of creating and editing flowcharts directly in InDesign. And that requires the dynamic placement of the lines...

Thanks for the link but I would rather stay inside of InDesign for the purpose of typography and overall design.
