I have the most updated InDesign App, MacBook Air

I'm using Tables to create a few layouts in the book I'm working on

Trying to change the color from Black to Green

The font looks Black but the but the Color Fill says it's Green

Any advice?

Thank you!

Hi

Your question is about tables using InDesign, but you posted to the Photoshop forum. Photoshop doesn't have tables. I'll move your post to InDesign.

  • Does your text have a Character or Paragraph style applied?
  • Are there any overrides?
  • When you select the text, what are the options for the Swatch that is applied?
  • If no swatch is applied, what is the definition in the Color panel?

It would be helpful to see a screenshot with

  • your selected text
  • Character panel
  • Swatches panel

Are you changing the color by redefining the style or with local overrides?

Is it possible that you have Multiply (or some other Blending Mode) applied to the Text Frame in the Effects panel?

Thank you for moving my post! It was an issue with the Character Styles overrides.
