indesign formular ignor tab

Hi folks
I have created a form in indesign.
Date formats, I had to build up as single fields for scanner reasons. See the picture:

Is there a possibility, whether indesign or acrobat, that the input field goes further when typing in a number? I can limit the fields to only allow one number to be typed in. Now I want the active field to change and the cursor to jump to the next field. Is there any way to improve the usability? otherwise you have to press tab after each number.
