Indesign freezes after 1 minute 19.0 on Mac Sonoma

I updated my Indesign and everything was working fine yesterday. I came into work today and now my Indesign decided to freeze up and crash. I can open a file even but then eventually will crash within seconds of trying to do something. If i wait to open a file it will freeze up and crash.

I've tried restarting a couple of times and i also installed the older Indesign 18.5 which i wasn't have any issues with on Sonoma and again that crashed.

All other programs are working just fine as in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Im running Mac Studio 2022, Sonoma 14.0

Thanks everyone. I talked with Adobe yesterday. Looks like a file could have corrupted something. I reset prefrences and didn't open that file and everything seems to be working now. I'll update if anything else weird happens.

InDesign 19.0 is not yet fully compatible with Sonoma. You'll probably have to wait until 19.1 or 19.2.

It's best not installing the latest macOS version until  the bugs have been fixed.

If a document is not behaving well then try

File>Export

Choose IDML

Open the IDML in InDesign
Save the file as a new InDesign file with a new name
See if the issue persists.
