InDesign Freezes on load
Seems to be a history with this issue. Loading InDesign freezes on open. Only way to close the program is through the task manager be enting the task, InDesign.exe. Shows "not responding" in the applications tab.
Apparently this has been an issue for years? ...can adobe not fix their stuff?
I'm running windows 7, latest updates. 32gb memory, 15 TB hard drive space. i7 Processor. And this program can't handle running?
I've run version 14.0.3 and 15.0. Sometimes playing the folder rename trick seems to work as suggested in other forums. SOMETIMES removing it and reinstalling it works, but just for one run before restarting and it will freeze again.
Is this what Adobe thinks is worth $700 a year?
Has there ever been a fix for this effing bug yet?
And adobe staff, please spare me the clearing of the cache.. done all that. I've removed, reinstalled, 2 versions, I've done a wipe of the installation with your tool, I've rebooted, I've run as administrator and the same thing. All this software has done is wasted half of my day, and emptied my wallet. One would think after a few years you'd get this right.
Are there logs I can look at to find errors? I'm not going to sit here stabbing in the dark to resolve your buggy overpriced software.
