InDesign freezes when exporting to png, corrupts file - only after iOS update to Ventura

Hello all! Hoping for insight into this issue that started after my update to iOS Ventura on Monday (6/26/23). Exporting a file to png; taking longer than expected; rec’d error message my VPN got disconnected then InDesign froze; server disconnected/disappeared; had to force quit ID. Tried to reopen file upon restart and it was corrupted – initially recreated original files from scratch – workaround now is to export a high-res pdf, then save as png in Photoshop. It works, but isn't what I should have to do. Talked to Apple yesterday, they weren't helpful. Is there an issue with ID & Ventura? My server & Ventura?

Attached screenshots of several errors rec'd, the first of which references a file I haven't worked on for weeks, which is weird, along with my computer info.

Any suggestions, insight, etc. is greatly appreciated - thanks very much!

What version of InDesign are you running?

It suggests a server problem to me in your system. But nothing really to do with InDesign and Ventura.

I am on no network, but have been running InDesign 18.3 on Ventura for some time and I have no problems exporting a PNG file from InDesign.

Steve, thanks for the quick reply. I'm also running ID 18.3 (CC) and haven't had any issues until I did the Ventura update. My coworker - also on VPN when working remotely - is still using Monterey and hasn't had any issues so it's definitely my computer only. Any chance my Macbook age could be the issue? Thnx again

Hi @Dandrew15126151 ,

Thank you for the details. Would you mind checking if InDesign has full disc access? You can add this access by navigating to Apple Menu > System Settings > Privacy & Settings > Full Disc Access. Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Thanks
