Indesign freezes when trying to update Share for Review document

Able to share for review, but when trying to update after making changes. Indesign gets stuck here and I have to force quit. It never updates

Hi @jessicaf106957735452587,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Could you please confirm the version of InDesign and your OS? Also, is the document saved locally or on a network drive/server?

To troubleshoot further, please try creating a new document and test the Share for Review feature to see if it works.

Since many of your colleagues are working on the same file, this might be causing the issue.

The indesign document was saved as a cloud document. I'm currently on InDesign 19.5 and OS Mac Sonoma 14.5. I tried sharing an Indesign document for review from my desktop and that worked. Also tried from Google drive and that worked as well. Is it just because it was a cloud document?

@jessicaf1069577317593771 can you try saving your InDesign to your hard drive first and then click to share. Adobe will create a safe link....versus sharing the link from the cloud

I could try that but I need to document to be worked on by multiple people so that won't solve the whole problem. I was able to share it to start but now even when I open the comments panel in Indesign, it freezes.
