InDesign Freezing With Beach Ball - Mac

Even after a 50+ minute phone call with Adobe, my issue is still not resolved.

On Friday last week, my InDesign freezes after each task I attempt to do (click on an object, edit a piece of text, scroll to another page). My system is:

• InDesign CC 2019 - V. 14.0.3
• Mac Book Pro - Mid 2014
• macOS Mojave 10.14.6

Here are the steps I took on my own:

• Uninstall/Reinstall InDesign (3x)
• Delete or rename my preferences folders (3x)
• Called Adobe:
  • The only way for it to work was to run InDesign as the Root user. This showed me that I had one font installed that was not from the Adobe library. After shiting back to my profile, we deactivated the font in Font Book and the program appeared to be working well enough.
  • I came back an hour later and the issue is still occurring.

This issue is occurring in more than one file.

Does anyone else have any idea on this issue?

I've seen other threads similar to this and those steps don't seem to work for me.
