InDesign + Google File Stream : Crashing

Hello!
We are currently having an issue with multiple InDesign files saved in Google Drive through File Stream.

Basically, a person from one computer makes a file and saves it. It works super well for her, but then I try opening it, scroll around the file and it crashes. These files seem to be corrupt.

My assumption is there's some synching issue with recovery/temp files. Has anyone had this issue before? Any workflow workarounds you can suggest? It's very unusual and uncomfortable. Thank you!

I have a very similar problem and I was on the phone with Adobe for one entire hour and it's not working. All files stored on Google Drive are not opening properly.

Hi Olivia2495842554eh,

Sorry for the delay in response. Is it like the file is crashing for the owner of the file or when someone else is trying to access that file? Is InDesign working fine with files saved locally? Please also share the version of InDesign & OS.

Thanks

Rishabh

There have been quite a few reports of issues with this combination. Try Dropbox or Onedrive.
