Indesign has stopped working: does not recognize a plugin and shuts down

This error just started:

"Adobe Indesign does not recognize PNG IMPORT FILTER.RPLN as a valid plugin. Please reinstall the PNG IMPORT FILTER.RPLN plugin and restart Indesign."

The software is a DVD with Adobe Suite that I purchased from Adobe in 2012. Valid serial number.

Where can I get a valid PNG IMPORT FILTER.RPLN plugin? I've search the net but have had no success.

Is this happening to anyone else. I can set up a DVD player in my system and reinstall but thought I'd ask here first.

Win10 PC system.

Jesse

I would try running the installer and choose Repair before doing a complete reinstall (and for goodness sake back up the current install before you do anything else -- there are no publicly available updates for waht I presume is CS6).

If that doesn't work, come back and I'll give you a copy of the plugin file to try.

finally got an external DVD/CD player attached to my system using an old PC case power supply  with a sata cable and  and ran the DVD. LOL, it worked! There was no REPAIR option in the Adobe Suite Menu selection before or after I clicked on INSTALL. I'll probably lose some plugins but worth it. Was CS6 the last bonifide DVD anyone could before Adobe went to the subscrition program?

How did you install it? Via CD or from backup or another computer?

Is your version compatible with your OS?

What version doyou use?

It's Adobe Creative Suite CS6 Design Standard DVD, product 65163547 DVD. I haven't upgraded my OS Win10 or updated any other of the Suite apps. It's only been on this computer since 2012 where I used it in a professional creative studio for a magazine publisher.
