InDesign has updated and now no longer works.

Question

Hi, my version of Indesign has recently updated itself to allow for a touch-screen facility (absolutely pointless). Since then Indesign no longer works. Now I cannot use the arrow keys, the backspace key or the return key. Also control c, control s and control everything else no longer works. An excellent additional feature is when you double click on something, the whole page dissapears. Awesome update guys!!

Has anyone else had this issue and if so - is there a way to resolve it?

If following the instructions at Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting doesn't solve your problem the next step is probably to use the cleaner tool (Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to solve installation problems ) to remove InDesign, then reinstall, but BEFORE DOING THAT, please come back and tell us your exact versions of InDesign and your OS. Versions 19 and earlier oare no longer available and should not be removed without careful consideration of whether your system will run a newer version. More information about your version and OS may also point to a more targeted solution.
