InDesign incorrectly placing line breaks in Thai text

I am typesetting a multipage document in Thai. The Thai translator that I am working with says that InDesign is incorrectly breaking up the lines. I've tried changing the language to Thai and also the composer to World-Ready, but it is still the same. I have a similar issue with Karen and Burmese. Is this something that InDesign just doesn't do well or is there a fix for this?

 

I should also note that I set documents in about 45 languages, so I'm hoping this doesn't require me to download a different version of InDesign for Thai (I had to download the Middle Eastern version at one point for Arabic).

    InDesign's support for complex-script SE Asian languages has changed a lot over the last few years.  InDesign usually gets Burmese correct, as of version 17 I believe, but I don't know of any word processing or DTP app that gets Karen line endings reliably correct.  I typically ask for a post-DTP review from the translator when handling one of these languages. i usually don't need to go back to my Khmer and Lao translators, because essentially all of translators I work with in those languages use zero-width spaces to indicate good text wrap points.  Using zero-width spaces makes the question of composer support (or of OS support or browser support, for that matter) completely irrelevant. 

     

    That being said, if there's a place where Thai layout is broken, then it should be reported as a bug. Do you have an example you can share of a text frame with incorrectly broken Thai text?
