InDesign is crashing at "Starting up service registry" on Apple M1 processor, macOS 14.6.1

We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with crashes. The issue has been traced to certain Beta Adobe video composition/editing applications. We recommend updating all the beta and release versions of video-specific Adobe applications on your computer, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder, and then relaunching InDesign to see if this resolves the issue.
